Golden Imperfection

He swirls and swirls into himself.
Not knowing where he's going,
Not knowing what he's doing,
He loses himself and retreats to where he can no longer hear himself.

He knows not what he does and he knows exactly.
He wants one thing but says another.
He runs from the rest of the world, the rest of the pain.
He can't think about the past, or the future he wants so much.

May he be watched over,
May he not cry,
May he not hide his tears any longer,
May he trust us once more.

He's run so far away,
He's so hard to catch,
He's kept to himself, unable to say a word.
But I pray, no more.
